Working principle of micro diaphragm pump The circular motion of the motor causes the diaphragm inside the water pump to make reciprocating motion through a mechanical device, thereby compressing and stretching the air in the pump chamber. Under the action of the one-way valve, a positive pressure is formed at the drain outlet (the actual output pressure is related to the resistance of the pump drain outlet and the characteristics of the pump); a vacuum is formed at the water pumping port, thereby generating a pressure difference with the external atmospheric pressure. Under the action of the pressure difference, water is pressed into the water inlet and then discharged from the drain outlet. Under the action of the kinetic energy transmitted by the motor, water is continuously inhaled and discharged, forming a relatively stable flow rate.
Diaphragm pumps are generally driven by low-voltage DC brushed motors and brushless motor , and anti-parallel diodes are required in the circuit for freewheeling. When there is no liquid in the pump, it is similar to the motor being unloaded (the pump motor winding current is relatively small). The diaphragm is a soft plastic and has no large mechanical stress, so it can be pumped dry. If it is powered by low-voltage DC, a micro diaphragm pump is used.
