Micro solenoid valves are industrial devices controlled by electromagnetics. They are basic automation components used to control fluids and are classified as actuators, not limited to hydraulics or pneumatics. They are used in industrial control systems to adjust the direction, flow, speed, and other parameters of a medium. Solenoid valves can be combined with various circuits to achieve the desired control, ensuring both precision and flexibility. There are many types of solenoid valves, each serving different functions in a control system. The most commonly used are check valves, safety valves, directional control valves, and speed control valves.
Mini solenoid water valve Working Principle
The working principle of a 3v dc micro solenoid valve 2 way is that it consists of a sealed chamber with holes opened at different locations. Each hole is connected to a different oil pipe. A piston is located in the center of the chamber, and two electromagnets are located on either side. The valve body is attracted to the side with the magnet coil energized. Controlling the movement of the valve body opens or closes different oil drain holes. The oil inlet hole is normally open, allowing hydraulic oil to enter the different oil drain pipes. The oil pressure then pushes the piston in the cylinder, which in turn drives the piston rod, which in turn drives the mechanical device. By controlling the on/off current flowing through the electromagnet, mechanical motion is controlled.
